Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Administrator to join our Hessle based client. The Administrator will play a key role in ensuring that operations run smoothly, contributing to high-quality customer service and maintaining accurate records. 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday

A car is required as there will be the need to work at the company's site in Liversidge occasionally

Responsibilities

As an Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record management.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Managing office supplies and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) inventory, including ordering and maintaining adequate stock levels.
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations to support team and organizational objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and data protection.
  • Collaborating with other team members to implement operational efficiencies.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing communication (email, phone, and mail) and directing it to the appropriate parties.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in administration, data entry, and general office support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant administrative software.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle interactions positively and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making abilities.

Day-to-day

A typical day in this role may include:

  • Entering and updating data into organizational online systems with speed and accuracy.
  • Filing and maintaining both digital and physical documents, ensuring that records are organized and accessible.
  • Managing phone calls and emails by answering inquiries and redirecting them as necessary.
  • Processing orders for office supplies and PPE, including budgeting and liaising with vendors.
  • Assisting co-workers and management with administrative tasks or projects as needed.
  • Greeting visitors and providing them necessary guidance or materials.
  • Monitoring office resources and maintaining a clean and professional environment.
