We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage essential administrative tasks such as data entry, document filing, email correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Perform routine vehicle compliance checks to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and certifications.
- Liaise with team members and service providers to coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs within designated deadlines.
- Provide administrative and operational support to cross-functional teams as required.
- Identify areas for improvement and proactively contribute to streamlining administrative processes.
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a hands-on and self-motivated approach.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle compliance or a willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent tools.
- Ability to effectively multitask and adapt to evolving priorities.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
What You'll Do on a Typical Day
- Assist the team with various administrative requests, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
- Conduct regular vehicle compliance checks and maintain corresponding records.
- Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from team members, clients, or external stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for easy and efficient record access.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure consistent compliance with operational standards and deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve administrative challenges and promote a positive and productive work culture.
Hours of Work
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility is available depending on business needs.
Salary
- £12.21 per hour
