Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable LGV1 Driver to join our team in Inverness. This role involves palletised deliveries, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently to their destinations. Salary: £17 to £22 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM starts

Responsibilities

• Safely operate LGV1 vehicles to complete palletised deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery challenges to the appropriate team.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience in LGV1 driving, preferably with palletised deliveries.
• Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with professionalism.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.

Day-to-Day

• Begin your day at 8:00 AM, conducting vehicle checks before departure.
• Load and secure palletised goods for delivery.
• Follow planned routes to deliver goods efficiently and on time.
• Communicate with the logistics team to address any changes or challenges.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed to the highest standard, maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Return to the depot, complete end-of-day checks, and prepare for the next day.
