Our client, based in Queenslie, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team. Rate of Pay

Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all assigned areas, including but not limited to offices, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Remove trash and recycling regularly, ensuring proper disposal in designated areas.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and request necessary refills in advance.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor the cleanliness of windows, equipment, and furniture, and perform necessary upkeep as required.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with established guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards directly to the supervisor.
• Foster a welcoming and respectful environment for all employees, clients, and visitors in the space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning services or a similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety procedures.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are:

• 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a 30-minute break, or
• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 1-hour break.

Working Days

Working days are Monday to Friday.

Day-to-day

• Begin the day by checking cleaning assignments or schedules.
• Assess all areas for cleaning needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Work on individual tasks such as cleaning restrooms, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Participate in team clean-up efforts for large areas or group projects as needed.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and promptly communicate any issues or supply needs.
