Our client, based in Queenslie, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team. As a Cleaner, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all. Rate of Pay
Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all assigned areas, including but not limited to offices, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Remove trash and recycling regularly, ensuring proper disposal in designated areas.
- Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and request necessary refills in advance.
- Respond to cleaning emergencies promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor the cleanliness of windows, equipment, and furniture, and perform necessary upkeep as required.
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with established guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards directly to the supervisor.
- Foster a welcoming and respectful environment for all employees, clients, and visitors in the space.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in cleaning services or a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a diverse environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Working Hours
The working hours for this role are:
- 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a 30-minute break, or
- 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 1-hour break.
Working Days
Working days are Monday to Friday.
Day-to-day
- Begin the day by checking cleaning assignments or schedules.
- Assess all areas for cleaning needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Work on individual tasks such as cleaning restrooms, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Participate in team clean-up efforts for large areas or group projects as needed.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and promptly communicate any issues or supply needs.
