Job Title: FLT Reach Operative (PM Shift)
Location: Liverpool, Speke L24Salary: £14.21 / H Job Type: TEMP TO PERM Shift: Afternoon/Evening (PM Shift) - 5 OUT OF 7 DAYS INCLUDING SUNDAY . Week days - 2.30pm - 11pm, Sunday 9am - 5.30pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable FLT Reach Operative to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring smooth operations within our warehouse, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong FLT Reach experience, solid warehouse knowledge, and a commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate FLT Reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve goods within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from vehicles using the appropriate equipment.
- Conduct regular checks on the forklift to ensure equipment is operational and safe to use.
- Organize stock systematically, ensuring inventory accuracy and minimizing damages.
- Pick and prepare stock for dispatch following company processes and procedures.
- Support warehouse operatives with general duties such as cleaning, packing, and stock control when required.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in and around the warehouse.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Warehouse Experience:
- Solid previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including stock handling, order picking, and material storage.
Valid License:
- Must hold a valid and accredited FLT Reach Truck License.
- Evidence of practical experience operating FLT Reach trucks confidently and safely is mandatory.
- Confidence in working at height and maneuvering in tight warehouse spaces.
Additional Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset while being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to adapt to new systems and processes as required.
