Responsibilities
As a Food Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your tasks will include:
- Packing chicken products into designated packaging according to company standards and specifications.
- Inspecting and sorting products to maintain high quality and consistency.
- Operating and cleaning packing machinery and equipment as trained.
- Labeling packaged goods accurately and ensuring proper storage or shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area by following all hygiene and safety protocols.
- Reporting any concerns, discrepancies, or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- 5:30AM - 2:30PM or 2:30PM - 11:30PM Monday to Friday £!2.50phr
Qualifications

- Ability to perform repetitive work and stand for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment (cold conditions).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and food hygiene protocols.
Day-to-Day
A typical day as a Food Packer might include:
- Clocking in, gearing up with PPE, and participating in a brief pre-shift safety meeting.
- Reviewing tasks for the day and preparing your workstation.
- Packing chicken products along a conveyor belt while ensuring quality standards.
- Rotating tasks with the team to maintain efficiency and avoid fatigue.
- Taking scheduled breaks in the common area and interacting with your supportive and friendly team.
- Cleaning up your workstation at the end of the shift and preparing for the next production cycle.
