Responsibilities

As a Food Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your tasks will include:

• Packing chicken products into designated packaging according to company standards and specifications.
• Inspecting and sorting products to maintain high quality and consistency.
• Operating and cleaning packing machinery and equipment as trained.
• Labeling packaged goods accurately and ensuring proper storage or shipment.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area by following all hygiene and safety protocols.
• Reporting any concerns, discrepancies, or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Collaborating effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• 5:30AM - 2:30PM or 2:30PM - 11:30PM Monday to Friday £!2.50phr

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment (cold conditions).

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety and food hygiene protocols.

Day-to-Day

A typical day as a Food Packer might include:

• Clocking in, gearing up with PPE, and participating in a brief pre-shift safety meeting.
• Reviewing tasks for the day and preparing your workstation.
• Packing chicken products along a conveyor belt while ensuring quality standards.
• Rotating tasks with the team to maintain efficiency and avoid fatigue.
• Taking scheduled breaks in the common area and interacting with your supportive and friendly team.
• Cleaning up your workstation at the end of the shift and preparing for the next production cycle.
