Our busy manufacturing client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their busy team in Minworth.
The role:
- Lead and manage the full end-to-end recruitment process for indirect hires, ensuring timely and effective resourcing.
- Oversee new starter inductions, ensuring all paperwork, systems, and HR/TA platforms are updated accurately.
- Manage day-to-day HR administration including time & attendance, holiday management, contract changes, and absence monitoring.
- Administer the temp-to-perm process, ensuring only those meeting attendance, performance, and conduct standards are confirmed as permanent employees.
- Coordinate training and development activities, ensuring alignment with the site's training plan and proper documentation.
- Support HR initiatives, group projects, and employee engagement activities to promote best practice and drive engagement.
- Collect, maintain, and report all HR metrics to required deadlines.
- Contribute to site and business-wide HR projects and initiatives.
- Maintain accuracy of the Mitrefinch time & attendance system.
- Support the Apprenticeship Programme, including apprentice recruitment.
- Assist the HR Manager with employee relations matters, including investigations and absence management.
- Help organise site events and engagement activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team as needed.
The Person:
We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. You'll be confident engaging with colleagues at all levels, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and discretion.
- Part CIPD Level 5 qualified with 4-5 years' relevant HR experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload.
- Proven coaching skills to support and guide line managers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of HR's role in achieving wider objectives.
- Analytical mindset with strong reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience producing HR metrics.
- Knowledge of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment and supporting positive employee relations.
- Demonstrates confidentiality, professionalism, and a hands-on approach at all times.
