AM2PM are currently recruiting for a client based in the Telford area, we are looking for weekend industrial cleaner. Our client is a leading manufacturing company in Telford that need cleaners to ensure the machines are up to standard.

Your job duties will include: 

Maintain cleanliness and organization of industrial premises, equipment, and working areas.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and cleaning protocols to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
Clean floors by mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming as needed.
Properly handle and dispose of industrial waste, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
Clean and sanitize equipment and tools to maintain operational standards.
Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory shortages as necessary.
Identify and report any maintenance issues that may compromise cleanliness or safety.
Follow instructions and operational procedures as outlined by your supervisor. 

What we are looking for:

Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar cleaning role is an asset but not mandatory; thorough training will be provided.
Attention to detail and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as necessary.
Comfortable with standing or walking for extended periods

Please ensure you are able to travel to Telford and will have PPE safety boots and hiviz

Your day to day: 

Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure the site is clean, sanitary, and safe for employees and visitors.
Inspect cleaning tools and equipment regularly for maintenance, keeping them in optimal working order.
Communicate with team members and supervisors to prioritize cleaning tasks and resolve issues promptly.
Take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment that supports productivity and safety.
