AM2PM are seeking a professional and reliable LGV2 Tipper Driver to join our client in Cumbernauld. This role involves the delivery and collection of waste around Glasgow and the surrounding areas. This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position, offering a competitive rate of £16.50 per hour for day shifts.

LGV2 Tipper Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate an LGV2 tipper vehicle to deliver and collect waste in Glasgow and nearby areas.
• Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience operating tipper vehicles is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues.

LGV2 Tipper Driver Day-to-Day

• Start your day with a vehicle inspection to ensure it is safe and ready for operation.
• Follow a pre-planned route to deliver and collect waste materials efficiently.
• Communicate with the operations team to address any changes or updates to your schedule.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and log details of your deliveries and collections.
• Return the vehicle to the depot at the end of the shift and report any maintenance or repair needs.
