Job Title: Machine Operative

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Machine Operative to join our dynamic team. As a Machine Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of the production process. Pay Rate

£14.91 per hour

Shifts

6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (ROTATING)
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

 

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform cutting tasks with precision, adhering to company specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, defects, or imperfections, ensuring all items meet quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to maintain production flow.
• Log production data accurately and maintain clear communication with relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating and maintaining machinery (experience with cutting operations is a strong plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to interpret production instructions, specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Basic computer skills.

Day-to-day

• Begin the shift with safety checks and a review of daily production goals.
• Set up and calibrate machinery to ensure accuracy for specific tasks.
• Operate machines efficiently, performing cutting and other processing tasks according to guidelines.
• Inspect and measure completed products for quality assurance.
• End the day documenting production activity and assisting with pre-shift machine preparation for the next team.
