Job Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and resourceful Maintenance Engineer with a solid background in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational integrity of key systems and ensuring uninterrupted performance of critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimising mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance process performance and reliability.
  • Perform system diagnostics, testing, and inspections to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using company systems.
  • Recommend and implement improvement initiatives for plant machinery and operations.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members when necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of automation and control systems is a plus.
