Job Title: Mill Operative

Location: Oldbury
Pay Rate: £14.30 - £14.85 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts - 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mill machines, ensuring efficiency and productivity in line with company best practices.
• Load raw materials into machines and perform accurate setups to meet production requirements.
• Monitor the milling process to ensure high-quality output and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct routine quality checks on finished products to guarantee compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of daily operations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, contributing to the organization's strong safety culture.

Skills and Experience Required

• Comprehensive knowledge of steel manufacturing processes is essential.
• Demonstrated experience operating mill machines in a production environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and precision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated for individual tasks.
