Order Packer - £12.60 per hour - Shaw, Greater Manchester - 4 days on 4 days off - Overtime available, paid at a higher rate

Shift pattern available: 4 days on, 4 days off
Shift times: 10:30 am - 10 pm, if the shift rotation falls between Monday and Friday, and 2 pm - 10 pm if the shift falls on Saturday or Sunday

Overtime is offered once you've passed the training period.

The Role

AM2PM are delighted to be working with this high-profile retail FMCG client who distributes their products nationally, is based in the Shaw area, just outside of Oldham.

As an Order Packer, you will be responsible for a packing station with several chutes where items like clothing or accessories will come through. You will pack the items into bags and boxes, label the products currently and scan them using a hand scanner to ensure the correct orders are packed and dispatched to the intended customer. 

Attention to detail and quality is key, as is working to targets and KPIs. Being organised and able to prioritise workloads are also key skills in this role.

Internal training will be provided to support you with the key tasks to ensure standards and targets are met. Having previous experience of working in a multitasking environment is beneficial for managing the workload.

Shifts and Pay Rates:

• 4 days on, 4 days off
• 10:30 am - 10 pm, if the shift rotation falls between Monday and Friday
• 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm if the shift falls on Saturday or Sunday
• Pay rate: £12.60 per hour
• Overtime pay rate: £18.90/h
• Location: Shaw, Greater Manchester
• Start date: Immediate

• These are long-term, ongoing positions with the potential to go permanent

• Previous experience in a similar setting and role is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.

The Person

Our client is keen to recruit motivated individuals who are open to learning and who are keen to progress their careers within a target-driven FMCG environment. Temporary to permanent roles are available for the right candidates. You may have already worked as an Order packer or within a warehouse, production, or similar industrial setting is beneficial; however, this is not essential as training is provided.
