Responsibilities Of A Food Production Operative

As a Food Production Operative, you will:

  • Work on a production line to ensure the preparation and packaging of food products is efficient and meets quality standards.
  • Pack and load food produce for distribution.
  • Perform hygiene duties to ensure the production area adheres to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain general housekeeping duties to keep the workplace clean and safe.
  • Support the team in meeting production goals while ensuring safety and compliance measures are met.

Qualifications For A Food Production Operative

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Have previous experience working on a food production line, though training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and a good attitude.
  • Be comfortable working in a cold environment.
  • Be okay working with meat products, with all applicable health and safety procedures in place.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Be a team player with good communication and time management skills.
