Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Operative to join our team on a day shift. As a valued member of our production line, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our daily operations. Pay & Hours
- 7:30am - 5:30pm (Monday to Thursday)6am - 2pm (Friday)
- £12.21ph
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment on the production line effectively and safely.
- Packing and labelling on a fast paced production line.
- Assist in the production, packing, and preparation of products in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently to meet production goals.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or packing environment is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of products is maintained.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when required.
- Basic physical fitness, as the role may involve standing for long periods and manual handling tasks.
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Commitment to promoting workplace safety and maintaining a safe environment for all employees.
Day-to-Day
- Work as part of a dynamic team to ensure production schedules are met.
- Operate equipment and tools on the production line following company guidelines.
- Perform routine quality control checks on products during and after production.
- Pack items quickly and efficiently while adhering to product specifications.
- Rotate tasks regularly to support cross-training and skill development within the team.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors and colleagues for any support or clarification.
- Participate in daily team meetings, offering feedback and suggestions to enhance production processes.
- Adhere to both individual and team targets, ensuring output remains consistent and high-quality.
