Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Operative to join our team on a day shift. As a valued member of our production line, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our daily operations. Pay & Hours

  • 7:30am - 5:30pm (Monday to Thursday)6am - 2pm (Friday)
  • £12.21ph

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment on the production line effectively and safely.
  • Packing and labelling on a fast paced production line.
  • Assist in the production, packing, and preparation of products in a timely and organized manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently to meet production goals.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or packing environment is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of products is maintained.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Basic physical fitness, as the role may involve standing for long periods and manual handling tasks.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Commitment to promoting workplace safety and maintaining a safe environment for all employees.

Day-to-Day

  • Work as part of a dynamic team to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Operate equipment and tools on the production line following company guidelines.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on products during and after production.
  • Pack items quickly and efficiently while adhering to product specifications.
  • Rotate tasks regularly to support cross-training and skill development within the team.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors and colleagues for any support or clarification.
  • Participate in daily team meetings, offering feedback and suggestions to enhance production processes.
  • Adhere to both individual and team targets, ensuring output remains consistent and high-quality.
