About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a responsible and detail-driven Production Operative to join their team. In this position, you'll play an essential role in supporting production operations, handling materials, working with resins and chemicals, and operating manufacturing presses. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals excited about manufacturing and eager to excel in a hands-on role. Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, you will perform tasks that contribute to efficient and high-quality production, including:
- Manual Decanting: Safely decanting materials and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with the Hardening Department: Working closely with the hardening team to ensure smooth processing and adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Operating Press Machinery: Efficiently operating presses while maintaining excellent quality control.
- Material Management: Safely handling materials, ensuring accurate measurements using digital scales.
- Knowledge and Safe Handling of Resins and Chemicals: Utilizing your understanding of resins and chemicals to maintain consistency in production, whilst adhering to safety regulations.
- Policy Adherence: Following established procedures and standards to ensure compliance with safety and operational regulations.
