Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistants to join our Brough based client. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring that our products and processes meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for maintaining product excellence and driving continuous improvements within a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
Pay Rate
£12.21 per hour
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Employment Type
This position is offered on a Temp to Perm basis.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Assistant, you will:
- Perform quality checks on in-process products and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results, deviations, and improvement reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns, propose solutions, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify and raise deviations or non-conformance reports for defective products or processes, ensuring timely resolution.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or a similar role within manufacturing or production environments will be an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to complete and manage documentation accurately.
- Ability to identify deviations and communicate effectively within teams to resolve issues.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Day-to-Day
Every day as a Quality Control Assistant will look dynamic and engaging. You can expect to:
- Start your day by reviewing the production schedule and planning your inspection activities accordingly.
- Perform inspections on incoming materials or products using precision tools to ensure no deviations from quality standards.
- Document all inspection results, communicate flagged issues to relevant stakeholders, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with the production team to address any immediate quality issues found during assembly.
