AM2PM are currently recruiting for a client based in the Telford/Hortonwood area, we are looking for an experiance stock clerk to join our clients leading team, Our client specialises in windows and is looking for someone that has a good work ethic, willing to learn and develop new skills. 

 

Your job duties will include the following: 

- Conduct accurate inventory stock checks of window products, components, and materials to ensure proper documentation and tracking.  
- Perform quality control checks to verify that all window materials and products meet our high standards.  
- Assist in auditing inventory levels and report variances in alignment with company protocols.  
- Record and report damaged, missing, or excess window materials or products to management.  
- Organize storage areas efficiently to optimize space usage and ensure accessibility for production teams.  
- Work closely with production, logistics, and delivery teams to ensure timely stock replenishment for window manufacturing and customer orders.  
- Operate warehouse equipment (training provided if needed) for tasks such as unloading shipments or reorganizing stock areas.  
- Contribute to continuous improvement by offering recommendations to streamline inventory processes.  

Qualifications:


- Proven experience in stock-taking, quality control, or inventory management preferred.  
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.  
- Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.  
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.  
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and issue resolution.  
- Ability to lift and move stock items safely, adhering to ergonomic principles as needed.  
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.  

Day-to-Day  

Your day as a Stock Clerk will include a mix of physical and administrative tasks. You'll start by performing inventory counts and inspecting stock quality. You'll work closely with your team and other departments to communicate inventory changes and replenish stock as needed. You might spend time updating inventory records in our system, addressing discrepancies, or organizing storage areas to optimize efficiency. Every day, you'll contribute to maintaining a smooth and accurate inventory experience to support business operations.
