Job Title: Van Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, motivated, and customer-oriented Van Driver to join our dedicated team. This role will require you to represent our brand with professionalism and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Working as part of a 2-3 person team, this position provides a fulfilling and dynamic opportunity for someone with relevant driving and manual handling experience.

Shift Timings: 6:45 am till 4:00 pm
Pay Rate: £13.99 per hour, increasing to £14.04 per hour after 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely drive a company-provided van for deliveries. (Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.)
• Deliver and install/assemble furniture in customers' homes with care and attention to detail.
• Handle and transport furniture safely using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and clients by delivering excellent customer-facing service.
• Work effectively as part of a 2-3 person team to ensure the successful delivery of our services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the van assigned to you.

Requirements

• Full and valid UK driving licence required.
• Proven experience driving vans professionally and confidently.
• Previous experience in handling and assembling furniture is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-friendly attitude.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• The ability to work Saturdays if required, with the assurance of a day off in the week if you are scheduled to work on a Saturday.
