About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations in our warehouse, focused on activities such as picking, packing, and working with toys. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced and friendly working environment.


Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm

 

Pay rate :£14.21 / hour 


Key Responsibilities

  • Picking : Accurately select items from shelves according to order requirements.
  • Packing : Safely and securely pack products for delivery to customers, ensuring all quality standards are met.
  • Handle toys and other items with care to maintain product quality.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure a tidy and efficient workflow.
  • Support overall warehouse operations, including restocking, inventory checks, and adhering to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and targets effectively.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with picking and packing operations is advantageous.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling various items, particularly toys.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills to ensure order accuracy.
