Location: Rochdale Pay Rate: £12.21/hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4.30 pm

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Picking: Accurately selecting items from shelves based on order requirements.
• Packing: Safely and securely packing products for delivery, ensuring all quality standards are met.
• Handling items with care to maintain product quality.
• Organising and maintaining the warehouse to ensure a tidy and efficient workflow.
• Supporting overall warehouse operations, including restocking, inventory checks, and adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and achieve targets effectively.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

• Prior warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Familiarity with picking and packing operations is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling various items, particularly toys.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to ensure order accuracy.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day as a Warehouse Operative will involve:

• Starting your shift at 8 am and working until 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Picking and packing orders with precision and care.
• Ensuring the warehouse remains organised and clean.
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Handling goods and products with attention to quality and safety.
