We are seeking dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our team in the Telford area, specifically based in Hortonwood TF1. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift Details:

• Shifts are 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, rotating weekly.
• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.
• 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern.

Please note: This role may involve working at heights, and all necessary training will be provided.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing items accurately and efficiently to meet customer and business requirements.
• Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures, including tasks that may require work at heights.
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management, including stock stored on high shelves or racks.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Valid FLT license and experience operating a Forklift Truck, including tasks that may involve heights.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving items and working at heights when necessary.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day as a Warehouse Operative will involve:

• Starting the day with a team briefing to outline daily objectives.
• Picking and packing orders with precision to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operating the FLT to move goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse, including loading and unloading items from high storage areas.
• Conducting regular checks to maintain stock accuracy.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with health and safety guidelines, especially when working at heights.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
