Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Picking and Packing: Accurately picking and packing items for online orders to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Scanning Electrical Goods: Using scanning devices to process and track electrical goods through the system.
• Labelling and Processing: Ensuring all goods are labelled correctly and processed efficiently in compliance with company procedures.
• Handling Online Orders: Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring all items are packed securely.
• Computer Skills: Performing basic computer tasks (such as data input and inventory tracking) to support the order management system.

Requirements and Skills

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in picking, packing, or handling goods in a warehouse environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic computer literacy, with the ability to learn and operate scanning and order management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical capability to stand, move, lift, and carry items during shifts.
• Commitment to safety standards and best practices within the workplace.

Shift Pattern and Pay

• Shift Pattern: A convenient 4 on, 4 off shift, allowing for work-life balance, which will include weekends.
• Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour.
