Weekend Warehouse Cleaner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Warehouse Cleaner to join our team within a warehouse environment. This role is based in Great Sankey, Warrington, and offers either day or night shifts, working 15 hours per week. The day shifts are working Saturday and Sunday, rotating shifts, 6 am - 2 pm AND 2 pm to 10 pm. The night shifts are working on Friday and Saturday, 10 pm to 6 am. Hourly Rate:
Day shift - £12.50 per hour
Night Shift - £14.88

Responsibilities

As a Weekend Warehouse Cleaner role, your primary duties will include:

• Performing routine cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors using industrial cleaning equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Cleaning and sanitising restrooms, break areas, and other communal spaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed.
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role within the industrial sector.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
• Be able to perform physical and manual cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a workplace setting.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day as a Weekend Warehouse Cleaner will involve:

• Carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks across designated areas of the warehouse.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly.
• Completing end-of-shift checks to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Logging any issues or incidents with the supervisor before finishing your shift.
