Job Title: Welder/ Fabricator
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am until 4pm , Friday 7am until 12.00pm
Pay rate: £18.00- £20.00ph DOE

Job Summary:
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, working on a variety of projects that require precision and skill. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding components for light and medium equipment, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication & Welding: Perform high-quality fabrication and welding work on various types of metal components.
- Reading Engineering Drawings: Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to produce accurate parts.
- Material Handling: Work with a range of metals, ensuring proper selection and preparation before fabrication.
- Precision & Quality Control: Conduct careful and precise welding operations while adhering to tight tolerances and inspection standards.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize tools such as grinders, saws, welding machines, and press brakes to complete fabrication projects.
- Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues in the fabrication process and collaborate with team members to find effective solutions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Either apprentice-trained or hands-on experience in fabrication and welding.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of design techniques and principles used in precision technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Welding: Ability to perform MIG welding and stainless TIG welding as required with precision.
- Engineering Drawings: Ability to confidently read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Fabrication Experience: Prior work with light, medium, and sheet metal is essential.
- Attention to Detail: High standard of workmanship, ensuring accuracy and quality in every task.
