Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

The Role
This is a critical role based within the small warehouse and offices. Due to the nature of the business the role demands high levels of accuracy and attention to detail as well great communication skills and accountability.
The role involves order picking the right equipment which will be sent to hospitals all over the UK for use in surgical procedures . For example hip and knee operations as well as reacting to time critical emergency operation requirements following accidents.
This is a highly responsible role where YOU will be making a huge difference , and you will be joining a close knit team who share their passion and motivation to do the very best every minute of the working day !
Booking in and out stock, both physically and digitally, order picking orthopaedic loan kits, managing stock levels including stock rotation in the warehouse, and conducting regular audits, checking returned packages and ensuring all parts are present and of the correct size, material, etc, liaising with couriers to arrange deliveries over the phone.
Managing the import & export of goods, chasing, and accurately tracking deliveries, dealing with sales requests, processing sales orders, quality control, gaining knowledge of orthopaedic systems, system management, and supporting the Warehouse and Logistics Manager & wider team where required.
The Person
You will be used to working within a pressurised environment and be able to prioritise and work to deadlines where accuracy is paramount and be able to demonstrate this.
There will be heavy lifting involved as well as tracking orders accurately, using word and Excel and at times power point to present information.
Due to the specific nature of this role experience within the NHS or medical sector in a quality control position would be advantageous.
This role demands a highly motivated person who takes great pride in getting thing done to a high standard and who has a real eye for detail and is able to to actively listen and take in information and act upon instruction.
Communication is a key skill for this role as is the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. you will be an extremely organised proactive individual, IT literate and accurate be able to use Word and excel to a high standard, have experience in following procedures as well as improving and developing existing procedures and be responsible and accountable and have excellent communication skills.
Due to location you will need to drive and have your own transport for this position.
