Working with a leading packaging provider, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join this highly successful company.

The Role
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a very fast paced plastics environment you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, identifying fault and problem solving at the press with minimal downtime to aid production, ensuring all equipment faults, concerns and breakdown root causes are reported to management. You will also be adhering to all quality standard regulations whilst ensuring company targets are met in terms of quality of products manufactured.
You will take ownership of smaller less complex specific tool suite to develop and maintain performance with minimal supervision, conducting Preventative and Reactive maintenance on Mould Injection Machinery and robotic machinery, testing and confirming electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic operations of mould injection machinery.
You will be expected to work within 5s methodology to maintain a high standard within the workplace, attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions whilst carrying out root cause analysis and resolving problems.
The Person
A minimum of 3 years’ experience carrying out maintenance on injection moulding machines.
Apprentice trained up to NVQ L3, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
17th/18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
Also experience with daily maintenance on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, inverters is expected.
MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) and FLT licenses are desirable, but training can be provided.
