AM2PM Group was founded back in 2003 by recruitment industry professionals driven to do things better, those people were Alan McGeorge and Peter McSheffrey.
Their story begins in 1996, when Alan was a Regional Director for one of the World’s largest Recruitment businesses. Peter McSheffrey was a young and upcoming Recruitment consultant making a name for himself in the Birmingham Area working for another local independent business.
Alan and Peter soon crossed paths and quickly worked out that their collaboration would be a prosperous one, Pete initially joined up with Alan working closely together through the Birmingham operation, seeing growth, development and great results.
In September of 2002, Peter contacted Alan to propose a new and joint venture, this would be based in Birmingham and would enable them to shape their own business model using the expertise and knowledge gained from their recruitment journey together and enhancing it by the things they had learned along the way. In this moment the AM2PM concept was formed and soon opened its doors in Erdington, Birmingham in January 2003.
What’s in a name?
AM2PM was created as a 24/7 business and its name was created from the initials of Alan McGeorge and Peter McSheffrey, what a perfect match. Their vision was to create a recruitment business structured on professional and ethical foundations, aiming to give candidates and clients the very best service available.
This strategy has been the driving force for our success and is the focus adopted by all our employees. This culture has helped us maintain a long-serving and developing workforce enabling AM2PM to expand organically throughout the UK, building excellent long-standing relationships with many key clients and brand names from a variety of industries.
Their future goals are to operate a business that is focused on longevity, to retain our clients, provide happy, hardworking candidates, being innovative and forward-thinking along the way.
So far it has been everything they wished for and the story continues..
