Our client is a leading UK food manufacturer, specializing in the production of poultry products. They operate across various sites in the UK and are known for their commitment to high-quality products.
Job Overview:
Working in a Cold Store – full freezer PPE provided.
• Conduct quality checks, efficiently wrap, and palletize products to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Safely stack frozen and chilled products, ensuring proper handling techniques.
• Execute manual handling tasks, including lifting equipment and products weighing up to 20kg.
• Effectively rotate chilled products based on production dates.
• Utilize pallet trucks and other manual handling equipment to support operations.
Requirements:
Own reliable transport is mandatory, due to location & working hours flexibility.
• A team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team.
• Keen attention to detail and flexibility in tackling various work tasks.
• Previous experience with manual handling equipment, such as pump trucks, pallet trucks, and FLTs, would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.
• Prior experience within the food production industry is desirable.
Key Benefits:
• Pay starting at £11.64 per hour, with an additional £2.00p/h for weekend shifts & after 6pm.
• Working Times: 10:00 – 22:00 set shift, 4on-3off
• Guaranteed hours and the potential for overtime paid at £17.46/ hour

• Temporary to permanent position that can lead to a permanent contract.
