The brave and bold decision we made for our AM2PM Annual General Meeting
It was our first get together post-pandemic, and a distinct change from the usual black-tie affair. We wanted the team to get to know one another again, have fun, and enjoy themselves.
In partnership with the Nightingale Club, a historic LGBTQI venue, from 12 noon on Saturday 14th May, colleagues from as far as Scotland, Grimsby and Manchester joined the Midlands teams in what can only be described as an exceptional day of fun, frolics and Bongo’s Bingo.
The day was exciting, displaying togetherness in the spirit of our values. The only awards we gave were for long service. We value loyalty very highly.
Our owner was asked about choosing an Employee of the Year, but how could he possibly choose one person from a period when we were furloughed, and all of our lives were in some way disrupted. He decided that all our employees were the best.
