The role
In this key role, you will take the lead in setting up injection moulding tools and machines in line with the production schedule, ensuring all tooling changes comply with site procedures. You will work closely with various departments to address any issues promptly and safely, while supporting the business in achieving its production targets. This role is critical in promoting and maintaining operational excellence across shifts.
Ensure all shift documentation, including handovers, is accurate and up to date.
Monitor and maintain shift KPIs, implementing improvement plans where necessary.
Perform basic first-line maintenance on tools (scope to be agreed).
Fully understand and action manufacturing plans, ensuring machine setup meets specifications.
Complete and document all daily/weekly safety checks on time and in full.
Safely install mould tools and correctly set machines to produce components to specification.
Verify that the correct materials and stock are used throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored and used properly.
Monitor product quality against customer specifications and take corrective action where necessary.
Ensure all production documentation, labelling, and machine operations are accurate and fit for purpose.
Provide specialist support to production teams as required.
Drive and encourage efficient working practices within the team.
Support with material or product queries, escalating issues to the relevant personnel as needed.
Communicate technical issues clearly with the production team and highlight any risks to production schedules.
Assist operators to maximise performance and adopt best manufacturing practices.
The person
Professional qualification in Injection Moulding and Automated Systems.
Strong understanding of general manufacturing processes and procedures.
Broad technical knowledge of injection moulding machine operations.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Confident communication skills across all levels.

The role

The Role
As the Production Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for consistently managing resources to achieve company targets as well as assisting your manager with delivering products to the correct quality, cost and execution. The Role
Working closely with the Production, Quality and CAD/CAM teams you will enhance all current processes, support new projects, and sustain their reputation. You will be responsible for the optimisation of their CNC machine processes ensuring delivery of precision, efficiency, and consistent quality across a diverse range of components.
Monitoring the performance of CNC equipment and communicate any recommended maintenance or upgrades that may be required as well as being a role model to CNC operators and apprentices by providing technical guidance which includes training on new processes or technologies.
Generate fixture designs, jig designs and working alongside the Production Manager on specialist tooling leading to higher efficiency.
The Person
With a minimum of 2 years experience in CNC Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering you will be creating and optimising CNC programs for their Haas CNC milling centres, multi-axis long-length extrusion machines to maximise efficiency and streamline operations. Also making sure all engineering standards are always adhered to.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software Fusion360 as well as strong understanding of CNC milling & multi-axis systems as well as G/M code programming are highly important for this role.

The role
