The Role
As an Advanced Maintenance Technician, you will be a technical leader leveraging practical and theoretical knowledge across engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for training and mentoring team members, solving unpredictable and complex scenarios, and driving continuous improvement.
Supervising team members on all breakdown activities, supporting the training of Planned Maintenance tasks, carrying out Root Cause Analysis to implement corrective actions successfully, highlighting snagging and influencing improvement plans by liaising and supporting the engineering / project teams with the buy off process and new part introduction.
You will also be responsible for budget control by defining key critical spares.
The Person
Demonstrating core competence in a minimum of two disciplines - robotics, mechanical electrical
Show knowledge of problem-solving methodology as well as a cost saving mentality and continuous improvement in line with tooling equipment and processes. Also, demonstration of advanced level equipment knowledge e.g Zani
Siemens S7 qualification or equivalent

The Role
As the Maintenance Team Leader your responsibility will be to ensure day to day management, direction, and performance of the maintenance team. You will be supporting and guiding your team making sure that the work carried out is in line with the quality standards whilst encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, safety and accountability within the team.
Utilising ProIV manage the maintenance system making sure all work and repairs are documented. Also creating orders using ProIV.
Prioritising tasks for the team to ensure targets are achieved, attending relevant meetings, issuing any key information to team members, as well as demonstrating continuous improvement methodology. Carrying out H&S management and team management including return to work interviews.
The Person
You will have a minimum of 2 years in people management and hold a leadership qualification
Have a good understanding of budgets / P&L (Profit & Loss)
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and organisation / planning skills

Working with a highly established steel tube manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Production Process Engineer to join their progressive team. This worldwide leader boasts multiple sites worldwide and exciting times ahead!
The Role
Covering 2 local sites, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and optimising manufacturing processes to improve the quality of products, increase production efficiency as well as reducing waste. Using Lean, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies you will participate and lead continuous improvement projects.
Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies whist ensuring quality standards are still met and not compromised on is a large part of the role. You will also be generating reports for management through collected data that includes trends identified and any recommendations in how to improve production.
You will be contributing to the launch of new products by providing support with ensuring manufacturing processes meet product specifications all in a fast-paced environment.
The Person
Minimum of 3 years' experience within steel or metal, strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is essential
The ability to read CAD drawings is essential
You will have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, being able to lead process changes and improvements. Communicating with colleagues to gain their ideas / opinions on what they think would improve processes.

The Role
We're recruiting candidates with previous experience as a Production QA operative for our client based in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area that specialises in manufacturing soft furnishing, who can work Monday to Thursday, either Day, 6 am - 6 pm or Nights 6 pm - 6 am. The Production QA role involves operating, measuring and overseeing the quality of inputs and outputs of the production to ensure the quality of the processes and systems of the manufacturing process follows the guidelines and requirements. The role also involves improving systems and processes to improve the quality of the production and outcomes based on the information and data analysed.
THE PERSON
A successful Production QA will have previous experience working in a similar environment or in production working with Quality Assurance. Comfortable with using computers, in-house software and learning new skills to understand the operation. The Production QA must be driven and protocol-driven to ensure that data and measurements are analysed correctly, thereby improving the processes. The role involves daily targets; therefore, it is beneficial if the successful candidate has previous experience in working towards targets and KPIs. A good level of verbal and written English is necessary.
