We're recruiting candidates with previous experience as a Production operator, who can work in a fast paced environment, working Monday to Thursday.

7:30am-5:30pm (Mon to Thurs)
Duties of the Production Operative:

General Production duties and cleaning
A successful Production Operative will have:
Previous experience as a Production Operative
Previous experience working with machine operating or within manufacturing
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete heavy lifting
Have excellent timekeeping and be reliable

Job Role:
Complete a variety of aspects, such as picking and packing orders using the LLOP and a headset.
AM2PM is recruiting several Warehouse operatives in the Warrington area for our prestigious retail client, which distributes its products nationally.
The role involves picking and packing various items with varied weights and sizes into cages placed on the forks. The role also involves moving, using the LLOP, or manually handling filled and empty cages to and from the correct location in the warehouse. You will be using a headset to know what location the items will be picked from and the amount of each product.
The warehouse operatives will work towards daily KPIs and targets to ensure the operational requirements are met.
The Person:
As a warehouse operative, you need to be motivated and organised to stay on track and work towards the KPIs and targets for picking orders. The warehouse operative needs to be comfortable with completing physical work to manually handle and move items of different sizes and weights. The company will provide full training to drive the LLOP, so it's important to be a keen learner and willing to take up new skills.

The role
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical components across our machinery and office facilities. Playing a vital role in ensuring minimal downtime, you will maintain safety standards and support efficient production processes. On a regular basis you can expect to:
Carry out routine preventative maintenance on all mechanical and electrical systems.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs to restore operations.
Install new mechanical and electrical components, equipment, and systems.
Ensure equipment is fully operational and complies with safety regulations.
Recommend replacement of worn or faulty components and assist in planning future maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of equipment, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes.
Perform energy audits and recommend alternative, cost-effective energy solutions.
Contribute to fire prevention and electrical safety measures.
Supervise contractors and maintenance staff during installation and project work.
Ensure work areas are left safe and all equipment is powered down after daily operations.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and attend training as needed.
The person
You will be educated to GCSE level as a minimum, including Grade C or above in Maths and English and will have a Certification in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance (essential).
Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is expected along with strong knowledge of health and safety standards.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and maintenance software is needed as is the hands-on ability to install and maintain electrical/mechanical systems independently.
With strong planning and organisational capabilities, you will have an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and will be comfortable supervising junior technicians.
