Our Wakefield team made Easter a little more special for the children at Wakefield Pinderfields Hospital. Team Wakefield engaged with local businesses by asking for donations of Easter eggs for sick children at Pinderfields Hospital who sadly were not able to spend Easter at home with their families. The generosity shown within the local community was overwhelming with over 800 eggs donated in total.
Due to such high numbers, we were also able to donate to Wakefield Outreach Children Programme, Lupsit Community Centre, Lightwave Foodbank and lastly Dewsbury Hospital – children’s ward.

Lupsit Community Centre said, “Thank You for the Easter Eggs, they will be given to children and young people on the estate and further afield as part of the Wakefield Councils Happy Healthy Holidays which supports children and families addressing holiday hunger.”
