Our client is a 5 start house builder who specialise in the design and manufacture of modular build across their Group.

The Role
The purpose of the role is to manage the manufacture of the pre kit and logistical areas of production and to assist in the streamlining of the production ensuring all manufacture outputs are delivered efficiently. Effectively managing team of production staff ensuring labour levels are maintained, all quality levels throughout the production process, monitoring efficiency of equipment and its maintenance.
Liaising with other depts and updating the Operations Director of workload status and projects.
Managing the labour force on a day-to-day basis and resolving any people issues in a fair and supportive way., identifying training and develop needs through reviewing and managing work processes and skills matrices.
Ensuring H&S is maintained through the process to ISO and chain of custody processes implementing Company policies and procedures to promote a multi skilled production process.
The Person
You will have a min of 3 year’s experience with a manufacturing supervisory role.
Hold or working towards an IOSH work safety accreditation and preferably hold a management qualification.
Be familiar with Lean Manufacturing processes and hold a knowledge of ERP systems.
Be a great people manager, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a great problem solver and have a flexible attitude to work with a passion to be get the job done to the highest quality and be able to work to meet tight deadlines.
