We are recruiting for Production Operatives in the manufacturing sector. You will be working at our client, a leading manufacturer of floor, wall, and ceiling framework for housing, located in the Castle Vale B35 area. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and skilled team in a highly specialised industry.
Requirements of Production Operatives: You will need the following:
- Experience in carpentry, construction, or similar roles is preferred, but candidates without this experience are also highly encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to use both hand and air tools.
- Skills in utilising saws and cutting machines.
- Ability to position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements (metric system measurement).
- Interpretation of dimensional standards in engineering drawings.
Details:
- Pay rate: £12 per hour
- Location: Castle Vale B35
- Hours of work: 6AM-2PM and 2PM-10PM, Monday to Friday
- Duration: Ongoing
Role of Production Operatives:
- Operate various tools and machinery to assemble floor, wall, and ceiling frameworks according to specifications.
- Use measurement tools to ensure parts are assembled accurately.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
