The Role
Our client is seeking a diligent individual to oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and installation of facilities in compliance with regulations and company Health and Safety standards. This role involves efficiently managing plant/machine stoppages on a 3-shift basis to ensure uninterrupted production. The individual must have theoretical and technical knowledge to mentor and coach others within the team. Working as the go to expert within the field you must be able to offer solutions to complex and unpredictable situations.
Tasks include periodic maintenance checks, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and flexible adaptation to changing priorities. Have a proactive work attitudes, effective communication skills, and diligence in report completion. Collaboration, adherence to schedules, and upholding health and safety standards are key. Supporting team development, sharing knowledge, and assisting in NPI installation are essential.
The Person
The ideal candidate should possess qualifications including Electrical and Mechanical principles equivalent to C&G L3 and 3 years’ relevant experience, demonstrating capability in supporting production during breakdowns. you will showcase core competency in disciplines such as mechanical, or electrical engineering, problem-solving methodologies and cost-saving strategies. A continuous improvement mindset concerning tooling, equipment, and processes is essential. Additionally, you should be able to show the ability to influence beyond the maintenance environment. Specific qualifications including Siemens S7 or equivalent, as well as Fanuc/ABB or equivalent, are preferred .
