Our client is a well-established fast paced food manufacturer who are looking to recruit for this critical role within their product development team.
The Role
Working with a small team of 6 and leading 2 of the team, this pivotal role holds responsibility for the development of existing product lines as well as taking new products from approval to launch and beyond.
Communication is key as there is a constant need to keep lines of collaboration and communication with various depts including production and customers to ensure the project management of the product development lines which there are around 300 SKU`s and launches and 25 EPD launches.
Responsibility of developing and coaching 2 other staff setting objective and KPI`s working to tight deadlines and developing new recipes as well as conducting customer meetings to discuss product development as well as customer hero lead products.
Completing shelf life, micro reheats, tastes panel sheets, photo standards, writing trial reports nutritional batching, recipe handover, BOMs cook time and ERH`s and Promteks.
This is a busy role within a strong confident team so the ability to work in collaboration and get ideas and plans across well.
The Person
You will have over 3 years’ experience within a FMCG environment with people management experience and hold a HACCP level 3 qualification. You will be a great communicator in both written and verbal mediums, be a great planner and organiser being able to work across multi projects and deliver within tight deadlines, have a keen eye of process, accuracy, and a passion to exceed the customers’ expectations.
