Production Operative
We are recruiting for a Production Operative in the automotive manufacturing sector. You will be working at our client’s facility, a leading company specialising in the production of high-quality interior systems for renowned automobile brands. Requirements of a Production Operative:
You will need the following:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of production processes and machinery operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Flexibility to work all shifts and overtime as required.
Details:
- Pay rate: £12.01 per hour
- Location: Automotive manufacturing sector
- Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift rota pattern or days/nights (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
- Duration: Ongoing assignment
Role of a Production Operative:
- Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently and safely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
- Monitor production line activities, address issues, and maintain production flow.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
- Collaborate with team members for smooth shift transitions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Follow all company health and safety guidelines.
