We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated Machine Operatives to join our dynamic team. As a Machine Operative, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of production lines and contributing to the overall success of our client’s operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a thriving manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently and safely, following standard operating procedures and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct quality checks on products, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications.
• Monitor production line activities, identify any issues or abnormalities, and take corrective action to maintain production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination and handover between shifts.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports as required.
• Adapt to changing work demands and demonstrate flexibility in performing various tasks within the production process.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of production processes and machinery operations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual nature.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Flexibility to work all the shifts and overtime as required.

Pay Rate: £12.01 per hour,
Overtime: x1.5 over 37.5 hours

Working pattern:

Monday – Friday, 8 hour shift rota pattern or days/ nights
• Week 1 – 6am-2pm
• Week 2 – 2pm-10pm
• Week 3 – 10pm-6am
